Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, toss steak cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Place steak in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through. Cook to desired doneness (8 min for medium-rare, 10 for well done).
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet or microwave and stir in minced garlic. Sizzle for a minute until fragrant.
- Once steak bites are cooked, drizzle with garlic butter and toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add Worcestershire or soy sauce for deeper flavor.
- Include red pepper flakes or hot sauce in butter for heat.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, salad, or greens.
- Reheat in air fryer or skillet to retain texture—avoid microwave.
- Prep ahead by cubing and seasoning steak early, then refrigerate until cooking.
