This quick and easy air fryer garlic flatbread is soft, golden, and packed with garlicky flavor. Ready in minutes without yeast or oven, it’s the perfect side for curries, soups, or dips.

  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 4 flatbreads

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: chopped parsley, garlic powder, or grated cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add yogurt and stir until a soft dough forms. Knead lightly for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide dough into 4 portions and roll each into a flat round or oval.
  4. Combine olive oil or butter with minced garlic and brush over dough rounds.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Cook flatbreads in batches for 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and puffed.
  6. Brush with more garlic butter after cooking and sprinkle with parsley or cheese if desired.

Notes

  • Add herbs or garlic powder to the dough for extra flavor.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella or parmesan for a cheesy version.
  • Swap some yogurt with sour cream for richer dough.
  • Freeze leftovers tightly wrapped and reheat straight from frozen.
