Description

Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries are crispy, golden fries tossed in garlic, Parmesan cheese, and herbs. Made in the air fryer with minimal oil, they’re a delicious and easy side or snack that’s ready in under an hour.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
  6. When fries are golden and crispy, immediately toss with grated Parmesan and minced garlic (if using).
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

  • Dry fries thoroughly before air frying to help them crisp.
