Description

Apple Ginger Juice is a naturally sweet and slightly spicy drink made with fresh apples and zesty ginger. It’s a refreshing, energizing beverage perfect for any time of day and can be served chilled or gently warmed.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sweet apples (Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp)
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup water (optional, for blending)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Ice cubes, for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop apples into chunks, leaving the skin on but removing cores and seeds.
  2. Peel and slice the ginger.
  3. If using a juicer, juice the apples and ginger together and collect the juice.
  4. If using a blender, add apples, ginger, and water. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  6. Stir in lemon juice, if using.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy immediately for best taste.

Notes

  • Add cucumber for extra hydration and a cooling twist.
  • Mix in pineapple or orange juice for a tropical flavor.
  • Use red apples or a touch of honey for added sweetness.
  • Warm gently on the stove for a cozy spiced drink.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 2 days; shake or stir before serving.
