Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (buttermilk or flaky layers)
- 1 cup apple pie filling (homemade or canned, chopped)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for glaze)
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (optional, for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly with your fingers.
- Chop apple pie filling into smaller pieces and spoon onto each biscuit.
- Fold or roll biscuits around the filling and place seam side down in the baking dish.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- If desired, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make a glaze and drizzle over biscuits while warm.
