Description

A fun and colorful no-bake layered dessert inspired by the classic banana split sundae. It features a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy filling, fresh fruit, chocolate syrup, and whipped topping, making it perfect for gatherings or an easy chilled treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  3. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping until well combined.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  7. Arrange the sliced bananas evenly over the cream layer.
  8. Spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  9. Add the sliced strawberries on top of the pineapple layer.
  10. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the fruit.
  11. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the entire dessert.
  12. Sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans over the top and decorate with maraschino cherries.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving so the layers can set.

Notes

  • Crushed vanilla wafers or digestive biscuits can replace graham crackers for a different crust flavor.
  • Add mini chocolate chips between layers for extra chocolate taste.
  • Use light cream cheese and reduced-fat whipped topping for a lighter version.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce along with chocolate syrup for a richer dessert.
  • Lightly brush banana slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and should not be reheated.
  • For best results, prepare it several hours ahead or the night before serving.
