Description
A Blueberry Milkshake is a creamy, refreshing treat made by blending sweet blueberries with vanilla ice cream and milk. Smooth, fruity, and naturally vibrant in color, it’s a quick and satisfying drink perfect for dessert or a cool snack.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk (whole, 2%, or preferred variety)
- 1–2 tbsp honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Add blueberries, vanilla ice cream, milk, honey or sugar (if using), and vanilla extract to a blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- If the milkshake is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again.
- Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and extra blueberries if desired.
- Serve immediately while cold and frothy.
Notes
- Frozen blueberries make the milkshake thicker and colder.
- Use dairy-free milk and ice cream for a vegan version.
- Add a frozen banana for extra creaminess.
- A handful of spinach can be blended in for added nutrients without affecting flavor.
- Best enjoyed fresh right after blending.
