A refreshing and creamy Brazilian drink made with fresh limes, sugar, water, and sweetened condensed milk—perfectly tangy, sweet, and ideal for hot days.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh limes, washed and quartered
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice cubes, for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash the limes thoroughly, then cut them into quarters.
  2. In a blender, combine the quartered limes, sugar, and cold water.
  3. Pulse a few times—just enough to extract juice without over-blending and causing bitterness.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  5. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve immediately over plenty of ice.

Notes

  • Add fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing twist.
  • Blend in strawberries or passion fruit for a fruity variation.
  • Use coconut milk instead of condensed milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Top each glass with sparkling water for a fizzy finish.
  • Best enjoyed fresh; stir before serving if stored for a few hours.
