Description

Ingredients
- 1 cup brewed coffee or 1–2 shots espresso
- 1 cup milk (any type)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp finely grated carrot
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Pinch of cinnamon for topping
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk, grated carrot, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Heat gently over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, and let it simmer for 3–5 minutes to infuse flavors.
- Strain the mixture to remove the carrot pulp.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour brewed coffee or espresso into a mug.
- Add the warm spiced milk mixture and stir to combine.
- Optional: Froth additional milk and add on top.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use whole milk for a creamier texture, or plant-based milk for a dairy-free option.
- Adjust brown sugar to control sweetness.
- Add cream cheese syrup for a richer, dessert-like flavor.
- Skip the carrot for a simpler spiced latte version.
- Serve iced by cooling the milk mixture and pouring over ice.
- Store spiced milk in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Reheat gently before combining with fresh coffee.
