Ingredients
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1 small apple, cored and chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ to 1 cup cold water, as needed
Instructions
- Wash and prep all ingredients, making sure carrots and spinach are clean.
- For a blender: Add carrots, spinach, apple, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth. Strain through a mesh strainer or nut milk bag if desired.
- For a juicer: Run carrots, spinach, and apple through the juicer. Stir in the lemon juice at the end.
- Serve immediately while fresh and cold.
Notes
- Add a small piece of fresh ginger for warmth.
- Include cucumber or celery for extra hydration.
- Use orange juice instead of lemon for a sweeter twist.
