Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or blend)
  • 4 lettuce leaves or 1 cup mixed greens
  • 12 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers or cucumbers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise, sour cream, or Greek yogurt
  • Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice or chopped herbs for sauce
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and smoked paprika if using.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and cooked through.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese over chicken in the pan, cover briefly to melt the cheese.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  5. Spread creamy sauce down the center of each tortilla.
  6. Layer lettuce, tomato, optional veggies, and cheesy chicken on top of the sauce.
  7. Fold in sides and roll tightly into wraps.
  8. Optional: Place wraps seam-side down in skillet for 1 minute to crisp and seal.
