Ingredients
- 1 lb garlic bread dough or store-bought dough
- 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1/2 cup crab meat (lump or claw), flaked
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, half the mozzarella, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Divide the dough into 8 to 10 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a disc.
- Spoon a generous tablespoon of the seafood mixture into the center of each disc. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top.
- Fold the edges of the dough around the filling, pinching to seal and form smooth balls.
- Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Swap crab for lobster or scallops for a decadent twist.
- Use pepper jack or cheddar cheese for a bolder flavor.
- Add jalapeño or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Brush tops with garlic-parsley butter after baking for extra shine and taste.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
