These Crabby Shrimp‑Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs are a melty explosion of cheesy seafood goodness. Soft bread dough is filled with a creamy mixture of shrimp, crab, and cheese, then baked to golden perfection for an irresistible appetizer or snack.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8–10 garlic bread bombs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb garlic bread dough or store-bought dough
  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crab meat (lump or claw), flaked
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, half the mozzarella, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 to 10 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a disc.
  4. Spoon a generous tablespoon of the seafood mixture into the center of each disc. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top.
  5. Fold the edges of the dough around the filling, pinching to seal and form smooth balls.
  6. Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Swap crab for lobster or scallops for a decadent twist.
  • Use pepper jack or cheddar cheese for a bolder flavor.
  • Add jalapeño or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Brush tops with garlic-parsley butter after baking for extra shine and taste.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
