Description

Crispy Blueberry Grilled Cheese is a sweet and savory twist on the classic sandwich, combining buttery toasted bread, melted mozzarella, and juicy blueberries for a rich and comforting flavor combination.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place mozzarella cheese slices on two of the bread slices.
  3. Sprinkle fresh blueberries evenly over the cheese.
  4. Drizzle honey over the blueberries if desired.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of bread to form two sandwiches.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
  7. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until the bread becomes golden and crispy.
  8. Flip the sandwiches carefully and cook the other side until crisp and the cheese is fully melted.
