Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 refrigerated pie crust or homemade dough
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and sausage with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Roll out pie crust and press it into a deep-dish pie pan. Brush lightly with olive oil.
- Layer in half the meat mixture, then add half the sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and Parmesan.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients and top with extra cheese.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Add sautéed onions, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Use hot Italian sausage or red pepper flakes for a spicier version.
- Store leftovers for up to 3 days and reheat in oven or air fryer.
- Can be frozen baked or unbaked for up to 2 months.
