Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1–2 tablespoons honey (to taste)
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Peel and chop the turmeric and ginger roots into small pieces.
- Add them to a blender along with lemon juice, orange juice, black pepper, and water.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
- Stir in honey to taste.
- Pour into small bottles or jars and refrigerate.
- Shake well before drinking and enjoy a small shot daily.
