Description

A bold and energizing turmeric ginger shot made with fresh roots, citrus juices, and a touch of honey—perfect for a quick, natural wellness boost.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons honey (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the turmeric and ginger roots into small pieces.
  2. Add them to a blender along with lemon juice, orange juice, black pepper, and water.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  5. Stir in honey to taste.
  6. Pour into small bottles or jars and refrigerate.
  7. Shake well before drinking and enjoy a small shot daily.

Notes

  • Fresh turmeric and ginger provide the best flavor and potency.
  • Add cayenne pepper for extra heat and kick.
  • Use apple juice for a sweeter, milder variation.
  • Coconut water can be added for a lighter, refreshing taste.
  • Shake before drinking as natural separation occurs.
  • Can be frozen in ice cube trays for longer storage.
