Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1–2 tablespoons granulated sugar (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, gently heat the whole milk and heavy cream until steaming, without boiling.
- Add the chopped dark chocolate and granulated sugar.
- Whisk constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth and thick.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Continue whisking until fully combined and heated through.
- Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
