Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tsp fresh dill or thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them skin-side down in the dish.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture over the salmon fillets evenly.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve warm.
Notes
- Broil for the last 2 minutes for a crisp top.
- Add a splash of white wine or Dijon mustard for extra flavor depth.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or salad for a complete meal.
