  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), thinly sliced
  • 6 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles, cooked and drained
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 green onions or 2 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak slices with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet or wok, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter to the pan. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Return steak to the pan, add noodles, and toss everything together until well-coated and heated through.
  7. Garnish with green onions or parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add mushrooms, broccoli, or snap peas for extra vegetables.
  • Swap egg noodles for udon, rice noodles, or even spaghetti.
  • Make it spicy with chili oil or sriracha.
  • Substitute steak with chicken, shrimp, or tofu for variation.
  • Reheat leftovers in a skillet with a splash of water or butter to refresh the sauce.
