Ingredients
- 8 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), thinly sliced
- 6 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles, cooked and drained
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions or 2 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak slices with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet or wok, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter to the pan. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 1 minute.
- Return steak to the pan, add noodles, and toss everything together until well-coated and heated through.
- Garnish with green onions or parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add mushrooms, broccoli, or snap peas for extra vegetables.
- Swap egg noodles for udon, rice noodles, or even spaghetti.
- Make it spicy with chili oil or sriracha.
- Substitute steak with chicken, shrimp, or tofu for variation.
- Reheat leftovers in a skillet with a splash of water or butter to refresh the sauce.
