Description
Goat cheese grape balls are elegant, bite-sized appetizers that wrap sweet seedless grapes in creamy goat cheese and a crunchy herb-nut coating. They’re no-cook, make-ahead friendly, and perfect for parties, holidays, or snack boards.
Ingredients
- 20–24 red or green seedless grapes
- 8 oz goat cheese (plain or herbed)
- 2 oz cream cheese (optional, for smoother texture)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, pecans, or almonds)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, thyme)
- Optional: honey or balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the grapes thoroughly and set them aside.
- In a bowl, mix goat cheese and cream cheese (if using) until smooth and spreadable.
- Scoop a small amount of cheese and press a grape into the center, rolling the cheese around it to form a ball.
- Roll each ball in a plate of chopped nuts and herbs until fully coated.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Optional: Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze just before serving.
Notes
- Chill cheese slightly before rolling to reduce stickiness.
- Lightly oil or wet your hands to help shape the balls.
- Use red grapes for a sweeter contrast or green for a tangier bite.
- Mix lemon zest or honey into the cheese for a flavor boost.
- Best served chilled but allow to sit at room temp for 5–10 mins before serving.
