Instructions
- If using a juicer: Wash and core apples, then cut into chunks. Juice with any optional add-ins (cucumber, ginger, etc.). Stir in lemon juice, if using. Serve over ice.
- If using a blender: Chop apples and add to blender with water. Add optional extras if desired. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jar or glass. Stir in lemon juice, if using. Chill or serve over ice.
Notes
- No need to peel the apples—the skin adds nutrients and blends well when strained.
- For a sweeter version, use a mix of green and red apples, or add a splash of pineapple juice.
