Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 cup spinach or kale (loosely packed)
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice
- 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger (optional)
- 1/2 to 1 cup water (if using a blender)
Instructions
- Wash all produce thoroughly.
- If using a juicer: juice cucumber, celery, spinach, apple, and ginger.
- If using a blender: chop all produce, add to blender with water, and blend until smooth.
- Strain through a mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
- Stir in lemon or lime juice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add mint or parsley for extra freshness.
- Use pineapple or more apple for added sweetness.
- Drink immediately for maximum nutrients and flavor.
- Store up to 24 hours in a sealed glass container in the fridge.
