Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8–10 small tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage or lettuce
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream or yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (for sauce)
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Add shrimp and marinate for 15–20 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream or yogurt with lime juice to create a sauce.
- Warm the tortillas.
- Assemble tacos by adding shrimp, cabbage, avocado, and cilantro.
- Drizzle with sauce and add hot sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately.
