- 2 (18-oz.) pkg. premium double chocolate brownie mix (such as Ghirardelli), prepared according to package instructions in 8-in. square pans
- 3 (7.6-oz.) pkg. mini unwrapped peanut butter cups, roughly chopped (such as Reese’s), divided
Instructions
- Make whipped cream: Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar and salt, beat until stiff peaks form. Chill.
- Make pudding mixture: Combine cream cheese and peanut butter until fluffy. Add milk, pudding mix, and salt. Beat until smooth.
- Combine pudding mixture and whipped cream: Fold whipped cream into pudding mixture until fluffy.
- Assemble trifle layers: Layer brownies, peanut butter cups, and pudding mixture in trifle dish.
- Finish trifle: Top with remaining whipped cream, crumbled brownie pieces, and peanut butter cups. Serve or refrigerate.
