Ingredients

For Whipped Cream:

  • 3 cups cold heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt, divided

For Pudding Mixture:

  • 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 (5.1-oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix (such as Jell-O)

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 (18-oz.) pkg. premium double chocolate brownie mix (such as Ghirardelli), prepared according to package instructions in 8-in. square pans
  • 3 (7.6-oz.) pkg. mini unwrapped peanut butter cups, roughly chopped (such as Reese’s), divided

Instructions

  1. Make whipped cream: Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar and salt, beat until stiff peaks form. Chill.
  2. Make pudding mixture: Combine cream cheese and peanut butter until fluffy. Add milk, pudding mix, and salt. Beat until smooth.
  3. Combine pudding mixture and whipped cream: Fold whipped cream into pudding mixture until fluffy.
  4. Assemble trifle layers: Layer brownies, peanut butter cups, and pudding mixture in trifle dish.
  5. Finish trifle: Top with remaining whipped cream, crumbled brownie pieces, and peanut butter cups. Serve or refrigerate.
