Ingredients
- 4 to 6 slices of sandwich bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a non-stick pan over medium heat for stovetop method.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Spread garlic butter evenly on each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top if using.
- For oven: place bread on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden and crispy. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
- For stovetop: toast bread butter-side down in a pan until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm and enjoy immediately.

- Add red pepper flakes to the butter for heat.
