Description

Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a quick, creamy, and slightly sweet side dish made with corn, butter, honey, and cream cheese. It’s warm, comforting, and perfect for pairing with a variety of savory mains.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen corn (or canned/drained or fresh)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the corn and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and lightly caramelized.
  3. Stir in the honey until the corn is evenly coated.
  4. Add cream cheese cubes and stir until melted and well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cook for another minute until creamy and glossy, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Chopped green onions add color and freshness.
  • Use smoked paprika or roasted corn for a smoky flavor.
  • Maple syrup can substitute for honey for a fall twist.
