Description

Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli is a quick and flavorful skillet dinner featuring smoky sausage, juicy shrimp, and crisp broccoli tossed in a sweet-savory honey garlic glaze. Perfect for busy weeknights, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sausage and cook 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add broccoli to the skillet and cook 3–4 minutes until just tender. Transfer to plate with sausage.
  4. If pan is dry, add a bit more oil. Add garlic and shrimp, cooking 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Whisk honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  6. Return sausage and broccoli to skillet. Pour sauce over everything and stir to coat.
  7. Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Serve hot on its own or over rice/noodles.

Notes

  • Swap broccoli with green beans, snap peas, or bell peppers.
  • Add pineapple chunks for a sweet twist.
  • Use smoked sausage, kielbasa, or andouille for different flavors.
  • Double the sauce if serving over rice or noodles.
  • For gluten-free, use tamari or certified gluten-free soy sauce.
