Description

This Honey-Sweetened Strawberry Lemonade is a naturally sweet, refreshing drink made with ripe strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and smooth honey. Perfect for warm days, it’s a vibrant and healthy twist on a classic summer beverage.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water, divided
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Ice, for serving
  • Optional: extra strawberries or lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend strawberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture, if desired.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey with 1/2 cup water and warm over low heat just until honey dissolves. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the strawberry purée, lemon juice, honey mixture, and remaining cold water.
  4. Stir well and adjust sweetness or tartness with additional honey or lemon juice, if needed.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice. Garnish with lemon slices or extra strawberries, if desired.

  • Use a mild honey (like clover or wildflower) for best flavor balance.
