A refreshing iced drink combining sweet peach syrup, bright lemon juice, and smooth brewed tea—perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
- 3 black tea bags
- 3 cups water
- 2 fresh peaches, sliced
- 1/2 cup water (for peaches)
- 1/4 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew the tea by steeping tea bags in 3 cups of hot water until strong. Remove tea bags and let cool.
- In a saucepan, combine sliced peaches, 1/2 cup water, and honey or sugar. Cook until soft, then mash and strain to create a peach syrup. Let cool.
- In a pitcher, mix the cooled tea, lemon juice, and peach syrup. Stir well to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea mixture over.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired and serve chilled.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey or sugar.
- Use green tea for a lighter flavor variation.
- Add sparkling water for a fizzy version.
- Blend peaches instead of straining for a thicker texture.
