Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat (or imitation crab), chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup frozen, thawed and drained)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, sauté garlic and spinach over medium heat until wilted (or heated through if using frozen).
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Fold in spinach mixture, shrimp, crab, mozzarella, parmesan, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice (if using).
- Spread mixture into prepared baking dish and top with a little extra cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Cool slightly before serving warm with bread, crackers, or chips.
Notes
- Season with Old Bay or Cajun spice for more seafood flavor.
- Add smoked paprika or bacon for a smoky twist.
- Stir in cheddar for extra cheesiness.
- Swap crab with lobster or extra shrimp if desired.
