Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Mix in sour cream until fully combined.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
  7. Spread batter into prepared pan. Arrange peach slices on top in a single layer or slightly overlapping.
  8. Sprinkle with turbinado sugar if desired.
  9. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool in pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack or serving warm.
