Description

Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies are bite-sized treats with crisp edges and soft, chewy centers. Packed with mini chocolate chips, these small cookies are perfect for snacking, sharing, or adding to dessert platters.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a small spoon or mini cookie scoop, drop small portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 7–9 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Chopped walnuts or pecans can be added for extra texture.
  • A pinch of cinnamon adds a subtle warm flavor.
  • Use a mix of mini chocolate chips and white chocolate chips for variety.
  • If the dough is too soft, chill it for 10–15 minutes before baking.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain their softness.
