Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat-treat the flour by baking at 180°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes or microwaving until safe, then let it cool completely.
- In a bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the cooled flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Place on a tray and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
