Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and starting to soften.
- Push potatoes to one side of the skillet. Add ground meat and cook, breaking it up, until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in diced onion and garlic. Cook for 3–4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
- Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together to combine flavors.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot.

- Use chili powder or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
