Description

Ooey‑gooey cheesy garlic chicken wraps are crispy, melty, and full of savory flavor—perfect for a quick lunch, dinner, or snack. Tender chicken, creamy cheese, and bold garlic come together inside a golden wrap that’s irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped; rotisserie works great)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey Jack, provolone)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • 2 tbsp butter (for garlic butter spread)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook gently for 1–2 minutes until fragrant to make garlic butter.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, a handful of shredded mozzarella, mayonnaise or sour cream (if using), salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired).
  3. Spread a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla, then sprinkle with additional cheese on top. Fold each tortilla into a wrap or burrito shape.
  4. Brush the outside of each wrap with the garlic butter, coating both sides.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the wraps for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crisp and the cheese has melted inside.
  6. Slice the wraps in half and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add spinach, sun‑dried tomatoes, or sautéed onions for extra flavor and texture.
  • Use grilled, baked, or leftover shredded chicken as alternatives to rotisserie chicken.
  • Try different cheeses like Swiss, gouda, or feta for a unique taste.
  • Use whole wheat or low‑carb wraps to suit dietary preferences.
  • Slice into smaller pieces to serve as cheesy chicken pinwheels for parties or appetizers.
