Description

A refreshing orange banana smoothie made with ripe banana, fresh orange juice, and milk or yogurt for a naturally sweet, creamy, and energizing drink perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup milk or yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and cut it into pieces.
  2. Place the banana pieces into a blender.
  3. Add the fresh orange juice and milk or yogurt.
  4. Add honey and vanilla extract if using.
  5. Add the ice cubes.
  6. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more orange juice or milk and blend again.
  8. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients without affecting the flavor much.
  • Use frozen banana slices for a thicker and colder smoothie.
  • Blend in chia seeds or flaxseeds for additional nutrition.
  • Add strawberries or mango for a fruity variation.
  • Best enjoyed immediately after blending.
  • If storing, keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and stir before drinking.
