Description
Orange Juice with Pulp is a refreshing, naturally textured citrus drink made from freshly squeezed oranges. The pulp adds body and richness, delivering a wholesome, real-fruit experience with every sip.
Ingredients
- 6–8 fresh oranges (navel, Valencia, or a mix)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for added brightness)
- 1–2 tsp sugar or honey (optional, to taste)
Instructions
- Wash and halve the oranges.
- Use a citrus juicer or manual reamer to extract juice, pressing firmly to release pulp.
- Strain juice through a coarse strainer to remove seeds while keeping the pulp.
- Stir in lemon juice and sweetener if desired. Taste and adjust.
- Serve immediately over ice or chill in the fridge before serving.
Notes
- Use Valencia oranges for sweetness, navel for availability, or mix in blood oranges for complexity.
- To increase pulp, scoop extra bits from the juicer or blend peeled orange segments.
- Shake or stir juice before serving to redistribute pulp.
- Best consumed fresh; store in the fridge up to 3 days.
- Avoid freezing, as pulp can become mushy when thawed.
