Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Mash the ripe bananas in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Stir in chia seeds, milk, yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix well to evenly distribute the chia seeds.
- Fold in chopped walnuts if using.
- Cover the bowl or divide into jars with lids.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until thickened.
- Stir well before serving and add desired toppings.
Notes
- Add cocoa powder for a chocolate banana variation.
- Stir in protein powder and extra milk for added protein.
- Mix in almond or peanut butter for a nuttier flavor.
