Instructions
- Cream together peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in rolled oats and chocolate chips or chopped peanuts if using.
- Spread batter evenly into a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Sprinkle sea salt on top before baking for a sweet-salty contrast.
- Substitute half the peanut butter with almond or sunflower seed butter for flavor variation.
