Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed if frozen)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam or 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (diced)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into 4-inch squares.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center of each pastry square.
- Top with a dollop of strawberry jam or a few diced strawberries.
- Fold the corners inward or shape the dough as desired.
- Brush pastry edges with egg wash.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly, then mix powdered sugar with milk to make a glaze and drizzle over the pastries.

- Use other jams like raspberry or blueberry for variety.
- Add lemon zest to the cream cheese for a brighter flavor.
- Drizzle with white chocolate or almond glaze for a richer finish.
- Store at room temperature for 1 day or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
