Ingredients
- 8 canned biscuits (buttermilk or flaky style)
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup canned crab meat, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2–3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Open the can of biscuits and place each one on the prepared baking sheet. Press down slightly to widen the surface.
- Spoon a generous amount of the seafood mixture onto each biscuit and spread it evenly toward the edges.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the biscuits are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm.
Notes
- Add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne for extra heat.
- Use a blend of mozzarella and Gruyère in place of cheddar for a richer cheese layer.
- Try English muffins or small ciabatta rolls instead of canned biscuits.
- Stir in chopped boiled eggs or diced celery for extra texture.
- Top with fresh herbs like dill or parsley before serving for brightness.
