Description
Shrimp Crab Biscuit Bombs are cheesy, buttery, and packed with seafood flavor. Wrapped in golden, flaky biscuit dough and filled with a creamy shrimp and crab mixture, they’re a handheld indulgence perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 can flaky biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (plus more for garnish)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix chopped shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, seasoning, and parsley until well combined.
- Separate biscuit dough and flatten each round into a 4-inch circle.
- Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the seafood mixture into the center of each circle.
- Fold edges up and pinch closed to form a sealed ball. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with extra parsley before serving and let cool slightly.
Notes
- Add hot sauce or red pepper flakes for a spicy version.
- Top with Parmesan before baking for extra flavor.
- Use chopped lobster for an elevated variation.
- Make mini versions for appetizers using smaller dough pieces.
- Reheat in oven or air fryer to retain crispiness—avoid microwave.
