Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni or short pasta of choice
- 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs recommended)
- 1/2 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan or cheddar (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over low heat. Add Boursin cheese and milk or half-and-half.
- Stir until the cheese has melted into a smooth sauce.
- Return cooked pasta to the pot and mix well to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in shredded cheese if using.
- Serve warm, topped with fresh herbs if desired.
