Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or choice)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, add honey and garlic, and simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Return chicken to skillet and coat with the honey butter glaze. Remove and slice.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add heavy cream to the remaining honey butter and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  8. Toss pasta in the creamy sauce, then top with sliced chicken.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
