Description

A comforting and flavorful pasta dish featuring lasagna noodles rolled with a creamy spinach and cheese filling, baked in rich marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach (fresh or frozen, drained)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and lay flat on a clean surface.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over each noodle.
  5. Roll up each noodle and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Spoon remaining marinara sauce over the roll ups and sprinkle extra mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Add vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini for extra flavor.
