Description

Strawberry Banana Pudding Dream is a no-bake, layered dessert featuring vanilla wafers, creamy pudding, sweet bananas, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for potlucks or summer gatherings, this easy banana pudding recipe with strawberries is light, refreshing, and full of nostalgic flavor.

Ingredients

  • Vanilla wafers
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk (for pudding)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 23 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 12 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Extra fruit and crushed vanilla wafers for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare vanilla pudding by whisking the mix with cold milk until thickened.
  2. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract (if using).
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a trifle bowl or 9×13 dish, layer vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  5. Add a layer of sliced bananas, then strawberries.
  6. Spoon a layer of the pudding mixture on top and spread evenly.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for best texture.
  9. Before serving, garnish with extra fruit and crushed wafers.

Notes

  • Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Substitute with banana pudding mix for a stronger banana flavor.
  • Use homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
  • Layer into mason jars or dessert cups for individual servings.
  • Add a drizzle of strawberry sauce for extra flair.
  • Best served within 2–3 days. Do not freeze.
