Strawberry Blackberry Spinach Salad is a light, fresh, and colorful dish combining sweet berries, tender spinach, creamy cheese, and crunchy nuts, all tossed in a tangy vinaigrette. Perfect for everyday meals or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese or feta
- 1/3 cup candied pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and dry spinach and berries. Slice strawberries and red onion (if using).
- In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, honey or maple syrup, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until smooth and emulsified.
- In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, blackberries, cheese, nuts, and red onion.
- Drizzle with vinaigrette just before serving.
- Toss gently and serve immediately.
