Description

A refreshing and creamy café-style drink made with homemade strawberry syrup and cold milk, creating a beautifully layered and naturally sweet beverage.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and water.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until strawberries soften and release juices.
  3. Lightly mash the strawberries and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool completely.
  5. Spoon a few tablespoons of strawberry syrup into the bottom of a glass.
  6. Add ice cubes on top of the syrup.
  7. Slowly pour in the milk to create a layered effect.
  8. Stir gently before drinking and add optional vanilla extract or condensed milk if desired.
