Ingredients
Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
- Form Meatballs: Using your hands or a small scoop, form the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 18-22 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden on the outside. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let the meatballs rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with your choice of sauce, pasta, or a side salad.
