Description

A quick and wholesome no-bake snack made with oats, flaxseeds, and chia seeds, offering a naturally sweet, chewy, and energizing bite perfect for on-the-go fuel.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flaxseeds, and chia seeds.
  2. Add peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Stir until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
  6. Place on a tray and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  7. Store in an airtight container and enjoy as needed.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup instead of honey to make the recipe vegan.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little more nut butter or sweetener.
  • Add shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
  • Quick oats can be used for a softer texture.
