Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice (slightly sticky)
- 300g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, cook the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
- Season with soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well and let cool slightly.
- Take a portion of rice and flatten it in your hand.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center and shape the rice around it to form a ball, sealing היט היט.
- Roll each rice ball in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry the rice balls until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 3–4 minutes.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Use slightly sticky rice for better shaping.
- Ensure balls are tightly sealed to prevent breaking during frying.
- Add cheese for a gooey center variation.
